Super Sunday’s icing on the cake

Congratulations too all involved with our Super Sunday celebrations. The sun was shining and the smell of bacon and eggs filed the air as the Lane Cove Cats family gathered at Blackman Park. This seemed to rub off on the children, with the excitement of playing in front of a large and spirited crowd producing some magnificent football.

We certainly lived up to our reputation as a family friendly club.. In fact the feedback we got from none other than the CEO of AFL NSW (Sam Graham) was magnificent; and I’m sure will not go unrewarded.

There is no doubt it was an outstanding success due to the hard work and commitment of our band of volunteers.

A special thanks goes to our bakers Caitlin, Amy, Natasha and Ana. They spend copious amounts of hours in the kitchen baking beautiful cakes and other assorted goodies. They spent the morning minding the stall and ended up virtually selling every item on offer. These are the types of things that make a footy club a great place to be. Magnificent effort girls!
