AFL9s exhibition game this Sunday

During last week’s home games at Blackman Park, you may have noticed some parents playing AFL on the lower fields.

This was in fact an AFL9s demonstration match, developed by AFL to encourage parents and ex-players to play the game in a non-threatening, non-contact environment.

We had some much good feedback that we will be running another session. This time it be played on the synthetic oval (field #2) prior to the Auskick Fun Day this Sunday 9 August @ 8am.

Once again we will have a representative from the AFL to hep coach new players and explain the rules.

As we mentioned before, if you have never played AFL9s before, please visit the AFL9s website to familiarise you self with the rules.

We encourage everyone who may be interested in playing to get down to Blackman Park by 8am.
