Auskick starts this Sunday

The wait is over. The first week of Auskick this Sunday (3-Apr).

2015-05-17 09.20.22Please make sure you get down to Blackman Park synthetic ovals at 7:45am to blow out the cobwebs before the real stuff starts at 8am. We will be issuing all Auskick packs which contain a Lane Cove Cats guernsey, shorts and socks. All you will need is a pair of football boots.

We will be breaking the kids up this year into these 3 main groups. Team Blue (CATS), Red (SWANS) and Orange (GIANTS).

The list of teams can be found in our new app. Please download here and search for “LaneCoveCats”. Then open the app, join and select the access group (Auskick) to view the teams and get all the club news and information relevant to you.

If for some reason you want your child to play above his age group (i.e. friends), then let us know. As long as we don’t get 82 wanting to play in Blue, there shouldn’t be any problem changing!

Because of the numbers this year, we will be further breaking up these 3 main groups, so that the kids get more contact with the footy more often. So we will need plenty of volunteers, don’t be shy getting involved and assisting where possible on the day.

Our OFFICIAL Auskick Coordinators this year are:

  1. Nick Brumley (Auskick Director)
  2. Roger Moten
  3. Kristen Pimpini
  4. Peter Beck
  5. Chris Ellis
  6. David King
  7. Michiel Tops
  8. Chris Arnold

You can also subscribe to a calendar of Auskick games new app. Just select Events, then click on “Subscribe” at the top of the screen to have all the Auskick events synchronise on your smartphone calendar. This will automatically updated when changes are made.
