Mothers Day Round, 8 May

Written by Daniel Hynes

3 May 2016

MDThe 8 May is Mothers Day and we’ll be putting on a show for all those great Mums at our club.

It just so happens that we have all but one of our teams playing at home that weekend. Auskick starts of proceedings at 8am on Blackman Park #1 and #2. The first junior game will be the U11s down on the grass field on Blackman Park #4. That will be followed by the U12s. Once Auskick is finished, the U9s and U10s will grace the synthetic fields.

The Auskick session will contain some games between the kids and Mums. We have also been promised by the children that they will put on a great show in the junior games later that morning.

Our temporary canteen was a great hit last weekend, and therefore we will be running it again on 8 May with plenty of hot pies, pasties and sausage rolls. However we would ask as many Dads (and sons) as possible to put their hand up and help man the pie warmer. If you can help out, please email Daniel Hynes with your availability.
