Volunteer of the Month – Peter Beck

Written by Daniel Hynes

25 July 2017

Volunteers are the backbone of our club. With today’s busy lifestyle, people’s time is even more precious. The reasons for volunteering are numerous. But one thing is for sure; we can’t do without them.
To recognise their efforts, we are continuing our a Volunteer of the Month award. The rewards will be varied, but the thanks will be consistent.

This month’s awards go to Peter Beck.

Peter has been the driving force behind Auskick, with registrations hitting a record 124 in 2017. This includes having the second largest group of girls in this age group in the Sydney region. Auskick is the life and blood of any junior AFL club. And the future of the Lane Cove Cats will be so much stronger due to the great work that Peter has been doing.
As a reward, Peter will be heading to an upcoming game of GWS Giant vs Fremantle Dockers.
